Friday evening Medic 1 and Medic 2 were dispatched along with Leonardtown Rescue Squad, Leonardtown Fire Department and Seventh District Rescue Squad. Dispatch related a head-on collision with at least 2 vehicles involved.

Medic 1 was first on scene and began rapid triage of patients located in 2 vehicles at least a quarter mile apart from each other, a total of 2 patients were located, with one being pinned in her vehicle.

Rescue operations began by Truck 1, patient care was started by Medic 2, the patient was extricated from the vehicle and then transported to St. Marys Hospital for further evaluation.

ALS units cleared the scene within 21 minutes, along with on scene ambulances.
